Sharoon Thomas is the CEO of Openlabs and serves on its Board of Directors. He works closely with the leadership team to set strategy and foster a culture of "innovation" - the very principle on which he founded "Open Labs" in 2008. With the additional responsibility as chief software architect, Sharoon spearheads longterm research and development initiatives with our team of computer scientists to deliver the next generation open source software innovations.He holds a masters in Information Systems from Manchester Business School and is a renowned functional and technical trainer for OpenERP and Tryton. As an open-source enthusiast he helps linux user groups and students with programming. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and represented the Tryton project in Europython 2010 at Birmingham, UK and was an invited speaker at OpenERP community days held at Belgium in March 2010.
